I don't really smell pumpkin at all and only a hint of apple with this fragrance wax, Apple Pumpkin by Yankee Candle. But, it's really good! It's very, very autumn-like and the best word to describe the scent is "spice." It has hints of cinnamon, spice, and potpourri. It's also very fragrant and I can smell it throughout my space, rather than having to sniff it up close. At the moment, this is my favorite autumn scent so far!

Pumpkin Pie
Woooooah, Pumpkin Pie home fragrance wax tarts by Yankee Candle are amazingggg. Seriously. This scent was extremely fragrant right away (check plus!) - I didnt even need to wait for the whole tart to melt.
The room was filled with the smell of pumpkin plus a cinnamon hint, but also had a cider hint to it... like an apple cider pumpkin pie! Geez, so good.

Harvest
I looooove Autumn and anything Autumn themed. So I may have went a little crazy during my latest shopping trip to Yankee Candle and purchased a whole bunch of seasonsal scents. The first one I tried is called Harvest. It's very subtle but has a great cinnamon, deep autumn type scent. Anyone else try this one?

Sun & Sand
Woohoo! Sun & Sand by Yankee Candle is such a fun scent! I haven't used the fragrance wax yet, but I've been using the fragrance oil this week and it's great!! Now, I will say it does not linger the way that other scents do the day after. However, I don't mind simply because the fragrance is so good when lit. It truly smells like the beach. I can't place if I'm smelling the sun, the sand, sun tan lotion, or what- but the name is just very accurate. Stuck at home but want to be on the beach every day like I do? Then I really recommend this scent. Geez, this sounds like an ad. Can you tell I'm a fan of summer scents?!! The refreshing fragrance of summer is so relaxing!

Vanilla Lime
I'm always drawn to scents like Vanilla Lime because I basically love all lime and lemon scents, tastes, colors ... everything! This Vanilla Lima home fragrance wax by Yankee Candle smells great. I will say that the lime is dominant over the vanilla. At certain times, I can't smell the vanilla at all. Yet, it doesn't just smell like lime alone. It's a fruity mixture of two pleasant scents.

Orange Buttercream Cupcake
Orange Buttercream Cupcake home fragrance wax cubes by Better Homes and Gardens = delicious. But here's the thing....
Whoever invented the formula for this scent = genius.
Whoever branded the fragrance title = super confused.
Seriously! This home fragrance smells sugary sweet and delicious. It's really enjoyable and the scent lingers the day after you use it. However, it doesn't smell like orange buttercream cupcake! It doesn't even smell like any of those things by themselves - I couldn't detect orange, buttercream, OR cupcake. I did seem to recognize the scent and finally figured out why. It smells exactly like Fruit Loops cereal! Has anyone else used this fragrance and thought the same thing? It's too funny!

Hawaiian Pineapple Cilantro
Hawaiian Pineapple Cilantro home fragrance wax cubes by Better Homes and Gardens is a very tangy fragrance! It smells fresh, fruity, tangy, and tart all at once. I can't totally pick up on the cilantro scent, but I could tell there was something there beyond just your typically pineapple. This is another scent that really lingered the day after I burned it. Yum!

Coconut Sun
This home fragrance by ScentSationals is so great. By now you know that I love fragrance wax cubes. This fragrance is called Coconut Sun. These packages come with 6 cubes and you an re-use them a few times before the fragrance runs out.
Coconut Sun smells really fruity and tropical. It was fragrant enough for us to really notice it throughout the night and even from other rooms. It almost smelled beachy and clearly smelled like summer. It wasn't just 'coconut' - it had the extra steamy, sweet scent. I think the name Coconut Sun is perfect for this fragrance cube!

Meyer Lemon
While I already was in love with lemon scents, especially for the home, my friend recommended Yankee Candle's Meyer Lemon to me. She raved on and on about how great the scent was, so I just HAD to try it. Read her blog too! She describes this scent as 'lemony deliciousness.' I have to say, I am so glad I tried Meyer Lemon because my friend was right.
I bought the little wax tarts that work the same way as wax cubes in your home fragrance burner. Yankee Candle had a sale where each tart was just $1.
This smells SO GOOD. Not a great description, right? Well, I can say that if you enjoy freshness, sugary, citrus, or sweet smells, you will love this home fragrance. It is very, very sweet! It smells more like lemon candy than an actual lemon. I've said this before with other lemon scents, but this reminds me of sweet Lemon Drops.
I wanted to keep inhaling so I could enjoy the juicy-lemon smell. I wanted to fill each room with the fragrance. Try it out and let me know if you felt the same way!

Organize Home Fragrances
One common theme you will begin to see on this blog is my obsession for air fragrances. I LOVE trying new scents. It's this happy feeling I get when smelling new options and buying a few to take home and try. Every week I can't help but buy something new.
Last year, I found a local shop that sold incense and fragrance oils. I bought a bunch of new incense burners and tried out the incense triangle things for once (instead of just the sticks). I even made my own incense burner which I'll post at a later date.
I've always used incense, but oils were new to me. Wow, I loved trying them. Pepperment is especially potent and I love how strong the smell was. Now, I also shop for fragrance oils at regular stores in the mall. You can usually find them on sale and they smell so great. It's basically an addiction!
Recently, I dove into the world of fragrance wax cubes. They function the same way that fragrance oils do. You place the wax on top of a wax burner and you light a tea candle beneath it. The candle will melt the wax cubes which will give off the scent. It's soo good! I'm still learning how long to re-light the same wax cubes. But the only way to learn is to try.
As I noticed my obsessive collection was growing in size, I knew I had to find a way to organize everything. I kept looking at tiny storage drawers and containers that snap shut, but nothing seemed right. Then, I found this fabric box at Target and thought it could do the trick.

Well, I was right! I'm so glad I tried this out because now that everything is organized I feel much better about this obsession! I have separate sections for:
fragrance wax cubes
extra tea candles to have on-hand for refills
mini wax chips
fragrance oils and oil dropper
incense sticks and incense cones
I'm in love!
